Dahlia and chrysanthemum expert Bryan Madders is the guest speaker at the Bournemouth In Bloom June meeting. A National Dahlia Society judge, Bryan’s illustrated talk will tell how to successfully grow and propagate these plants that have such a profusion of colour, type and size. Bryan’s been growing dahlias and chysanthemums for forty years. A keen amateur, his gardening interests started in childhood and, when he joined a local society, he discovered the joy of growing dahlias.
The talk is on Friday 1st June at St Francis of Assisi Church Hall, Charminster, BH8 9SH, during the monthly Bournemouth In Bloom meeting that starts at 7.30pm. In addition to Bryan’s talk, the evening will include the regular ‘Gardeners Question Time’ when members of the audience can ask advice about any gardening problems they may have.
