We are delighted to announce our speakers for the next 2 of our BiB Zoom Talks.
Exbury Gardens Head Gardener, Tom Clarke, who presented on ‘The Challenges of Managing a Historic Woodland Garden in our Changing Climate’ was an extremely engaging speaker and the photos were fantastic! Everyone who attended really enjoyed it.

Mary Payne MBE
Bio of Mary Payne MBE
I am a horticultural consultant to many gardens, specialising in planting schemes. I was awarded the MBE in 2004 for Services to Horticulture in the South West. I spent 10 years teaching horticulture at the University of Bath (1968 – 78) and have since run my own gardening classes. I have a clutch of gold medals from Chelsea and Hampton Court, including The Tudor Rose Award for the Best Exhibit at Hampton Court in 2009. For 20 years I have broadcast regularly on BBC Radio Bristol and give talks to many garden clubs and other groups.

All our shows are open from noon to 4.30pm with the awards being presented by the Mayor of Bournemouth at 4pm
The venue is St Francis of Assisi Church Hall, 480 Charminster Road, Bournemouth, BH8 9SH
Members are admitted free of charge, non-members £1.
