Maria Tidy, Community Liaison Officer at The Sheltered Work Opportunities Project will be joining us on Thursday 12th September to tell us how the charity works to support people with mental health issues through the use of therapeutic horticulture.

The Charity runs out of two plant nurseries, Cherry Tree Nursery in Northbourne and Chestnut Nursery in Poole and they support over 200 people each year helping them to learn new skills for life and gain confidence. As the presentation is over Zoom Maria is unable to bring any plants with her but Cherry Tree Nusery will be hosting a plant sale on Saturday 14th so please do pop along.
