Biography: Phil Broomfield
I have been running my own garden maintenance business in and around Bournemouth for the last fourteen years. I have a particular interest in Garden History and have visited a great many historic houses and gardens across the country. Back in 2020 I began volunteering at the Russell-Cotes Museum Garden in Bournemouth, a sub-tropical clifftop garden which overlooks Poole Bay. A year later, I took on the role of local coordinator for the National Garden Scheme, a charity where private gardens open to the public to help raise funds for various nursing and healthcare charities.
